Testimonials

Words from My Clients

Cara’s exceptional listening skills led me through discussing the struggles I’ve faced as a mother, while reflecting back to me the successes and joy I’ve experienced in motherhood. If only for a short time, MY feelings were the focus, and I walked away with a renewed sense of confidence and purpose in my journey.”

-Jenn Susin, mom/stepmom of five

What families are saying about Prenatal to Postpartum Support

Super helpful and informative! Cara made us feel comfortable talking about and asking questions about breastfeeding-something we were nervous to do! She's super knowledgeable but didn't make us feel embarrassed about the things we didn't know.

H + M, parents to be

Very satisfied with the information received during the prenatal consultation. Cara listened to my previous journey and took notes on what to focus on in the future journey.

My Story

I’m Cara, wife, mother, pediatric occupational therapist, breastfeeding advocate, and lifelong learner. I’ve been married to Phil since 2014. I am mom to four spirited children: Audrey (Age 9), Ryan (age 8), Luke (age 6), and Dylan (age 4). I grew up in the surrounding Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. My little family and I have moved from Pennsylvania to Florida in 2015, back to Pennsylvania in 2018, and BACK again to Florida in 2020.

Motherhood started in 2014 with my firstborn. I became pregnant again when she was just 6 months old! Parenting #2under2, #3under3, and #4under8 has been quite a journey, full of many challenges- physically, emotionally, mentally. Peaceful Transitions OT was created because of my prenatal and postpartum experiences, and the care I received during these times.  When you work with me, you will feel as supported as I did after my children were born.
